 VISTA SP1 HAS ARRIVED

Yes, you read that right! After months and months of waiting, Microsoft has finally released the final version of the Windows Vista Service Pack 1. According to Microsoft and several online news articles, as of today (March 18, 2008), the Vista SP 1 is now available to the public.

The announcement has been buzzing around the Internet for the past few days, so I wouldn't be surprised if all of you already know about this, but just in case you haven't heard, allow me to fill you in on all the details!

As it stands right now, installing the new Vista SP 1 will be optional to all Vista users for one month. If you want to install it, you can do so with either the Windows Updates that come through on your computer or with the installer package available on Microsoft's Web site.

But, once April 18, 2008 comes along, you will be urged to download it as soon as possible. At that time, the SP 1 will come through with April's monthly updates and if your computer is set to automatically install the Windows Updates, you will get the Service Pack no matter what.

Now, I know it probably feels like you're being forced to use the Vista SP 1, but there really isn't any reason why you shouldn't give it a shot. It features numerous improvements that will make your Vista computer much more secure, stable and efficient. It also includes over 300 fixes that cover an array of flaws, ranging all the way from data protection to video performance issues. So, if you haven't installed the new Windows Vista SP 1 yet,

I suggest you get to it. I mean, you've waited so long for it, why wait any longer? Check it out today!
